Only a clean ladle guarantees clean steel. With the ripper hook at the end of the telescopic boom, the machine operator works powerfully, precisely and safely. This way, a hot ladle (up to 1,400°C), in the cycle of production, is cleaned as quickly as possible. Working on the hot ladle with the ripper hook is the preferred method, as hammer blows and vibrations can damage or even crack the refractory material.
On the one hand, the telescopic boom of the UNIDACHS can be positioned so precisely that it targets the porous plug in the bottom of the ladle right away, and is so powerful to push it out within seconds without any damage to the surrounding block.
For hot and cold debricking, we offer optimally designed machines with telescopic booms and a ripper hook or hammer to remove the working lining in the shortest possible time in such a precise manner that no damage occurs to the permanent lining.
For the deslagging of iron, stroke lengths of 5.000 to 10.000 mm are required in many cases - due to the conditions on site. The "PAM" deslagging machines can be controlled accurately despite the long reach. This makes it possible to remove the slag with the least possible loss of material. The machine can be flexibly integrated into existing systems, for example in desulphurisation units.
