Debricking

The TML debricking machines have unique kinematics allowing them to work deep inside the furnace: they can reach all points from outside of the furnace where refractory material or slag needs to be broken out and removed. Due to the design and heat resistance of the machines, the job can begin before the furnace has cooled down. This saves the user valuable production time.

Charging, stoking and deskulling

Depending on the model, the charging machines are equipped with endlessly rotatable or telescopic booms. The machines, which are especially adapted for metallurgical plants, are equipped with a wide range of tools for effective charging, deskulling, stoking and scraping. In addition, our machines are extremely manoeuvrable and can be used in the smallest of spaces. The various model sizes and weight classes of our machines offer a suitable solution for every furnace platform.

Cleaning the slag door

The UNIDACHS machines are also designed for speedy cleaning of the furnace slag doors on electric arc furnaces. They are built for the steel mill applications, withstanding the heat and harsh conditions found there. The optional remote control offers maximum safety for the machine operator. Larger sized machines can be supplied with or without a cabin upon request.

Clearing the slag pit

The wheeled or track mounted slag loaders are modified and rebuilt in cooperation with the customer and TML's vast know-how. The wide range of options offers the highest safety standards for man and machine. For example, a machine can be equipped with a radio remote control so that the machine can be controlled from a safe distance.
