We have been running a photovoltaic system on the workshop roofs for years, which has recently been expanded. It now produces around 187 MWh of electrical energy per year. That makes us 74% energy self-sufficient and saves around 110 t of CO2 every year.
The system uses an inverter to supply electricity into a storage system, from which the consumers draw it via an inverter. In this way, it also supplies the six charging stations for the electric vehicles that we have installed on the company premises. Six more will be added shortly.
When customers visit us with their electric vehicle, they don’t have to worry about not finding a charging station on the way back. You can charge your vehicle for free with us during your visit. The benefit is not only for the employees … but primarily for our environment.
